All Sports Timing & Race Management and the Lake Erie Islands Browns Backers are proud to present the 4th Annual Draft Day 5k! The race will take place on Saturday, April 28 at 9:45am on the historic island of Put-in-Bay, Ohio. Whether you plan to run or walk come race and then celebrate the NFL draft with us! Every participant will receive an Official Draft Day 5k Jersey, free lunch, drink discounts, tickets into a raffle for Cleveland Browns autographed footballs, framed and signed pictures and more! This event will benefit the Lake Erie Islands Browns Backers. In addition, the 338th US Army Command Reserve Band will be playing in the park from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM!
Your support of this race is greatly appreciated as all proceeds from the race will go directly to the Lake Erie Islands Browns Backers. The LEIBB are a non-profit organization established in 2001. This year the LEIBB donated money to local, regional and national foundations and charities including the: Put-in-Bay Volunteer Fire Department, Put-in-Bay EMS, St. Paul's Episcopal Church Food Pantry, Island Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary, Glen Haven, Ottawa County "Kids for Christmas" which will put food on the table and a present under the tree for local area families in need, Put-in-Bay Arts Council, Back to the Wild, Chestnut Mountain Ranch which is a Christ-centered safe haven for boys and families in crisis located in West Virginia, the Cleveland Browns Foundation and several local scholarships that are awarded annually to graduating seniors from Put-in-Bay High School. The scholarships include the Gustav Heineman Scholarship, Ricky Dysert Scholarship, Jer-Bear & Kurt Scholarship, Jeff Verhoff Scholarship, and two $1000 scholarships from the Lake Erie Islands Browns Backers. In the past we have donated to Colorado Relief Fund which is helping rebuild the area after a mass flood in September of 2013 destroyed major roadways, Toledo Fire Fighters Fund in memory of Steven Machcinski & James Dickman.
