We are proud to announce that the Tucson Browns Backers have been selected as the 2015 Club of the Year!

Our finalists for this year were Pumpkin Patch Browns Backers (Parma, OH), Browns Backers of Pinellas (Clearwater, FL) and Tucson Browns Backers (Tucson, AZ). All three groups did an amazing job engaging with their members through social media, supporting charities including the Cleveland Browns Foundation and applying for the 2015 Cleveland Browns Grant Competition.

The Tucson Browns Backers did an excellent job within the community by donating to many local charities such as, Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Toys for Tots and the Cleveland Browns Foundation. Shelley Semler, the Tucson Browns Backers President, worked hard with her club to make each game day special by holding raffles, games such as Mingo Bingo and using an incentive program called “Browns Rewardz” to keep fans coming back each week.

Despite being 2,000 miles away from Cleveland, they were able to keep attendance at their viewing parties between 35-92 Browns fans each week. They have also worked hard to have 107 official members on the portal. To become a member of the Tucson Browns Backers click here!

During the off season, the Tucson Browns Backers stay in touch by holding a club picnic with food and a corn hole tournament. They will also be traveling to Scottsdale, Arizona to attend a Cleveland Indians game as a group. Finally, to kick off the 2016 football season, they will hold an NFL Draft viewing party at their club.
